Hyperlinks
- A hyperlink is a connection from one page
to another destination
- another page (bconcept.htm, http://home.ied.edu.hk/~pschen/setup.htm)
- a different location on the same page
(Bookmark)
- an email address, a file or program
- A hyperlink can be text or a picture
- A text hyperlink is simply text, such as a word or phrase, that has
been assigned a destination URL
- A picture hyperlink is a picture that has been assigned a destination
URL
- the entire picture can be assigned a default hyperlink (Button)
- the picture can be assigned one or more hotspots, which are
hyperlink regions on the picture (Image maps)
- Create a hyperlink
- highlight a word or phrase, under Insert menu, click Hyperlink,
type in file name or email address to be linked
- select image, under Insert menu, click Hyperlink, type in file
name to be lined
