Presentation Guidelines
Paper Presentations
Paper Presentations consist of individual research presentations centered around a similar theme or topic, grouped into sessions that run concurrently with other sessions. Each parallel session will last 1.5 hours and will include five or six presentations. Each paper is allocated 15 minutes: 10 minutes for the presentation followed by 5 minutes for Q&A.
Unless a chairperson is specified, the first presenter of each parallel session will serve as the Chairperson. The Chairperson is responsible for keeping time, introducing each presenter, and facilitating the Q&A sessions. Presenters are encouraged to arrive at their venue ahead of time to load their presentation slides onto the computer. A student helper will be available in each room to assist with any technical issues.
Poster Presentations
Posters are individual, free-standing research presentations. They should be presented in an appropriate format (e.g., use of graphics and visuals, appropriately sized text) that enables the presenter to explain the material and engage with interested audiences.
1. Each poster should fit within a designated poster board measuring 1.0 m wide by 2.0 m tall. The recommended dimensions for your poster are 90 cm (width) by 120 cm (height) to ensure a proper fit.
2. Posters should include the title, authors' names, and affiliations/organizations.
3. Posters must be printed out by the authors and brought to the presentation site.
4. Each poster will be assigned a code, which will be posted on the display boards. Presenters should mount their posters on the display board on November 28th before 9:00 AM.
5. Poster presenters are expected to be present and available to discuss their poster content with interested participants during their assigned session.
6. All displayed posters should be taken down at the end of the conference.
