Introduction

The effects of multimedia annotations on vocabulary acquisition have been noted by several researchers, but the extent to which multimedia annotations facilitate word learning and the ways in which they differ from or are similar to other factors that are conducive to word learning have rarely been studied. This sharing session aims at providing an open and inspirational platform for knowledge transfer through dissemination of the findings of our project on the use of multimedia in English learning.
