Dr So holds a BEng degree in Computer Engineering and an MPhil degree from the City University of Hong Kong. He also has a PGDE(S) degree major in IT from the Hong Kong Education University of Hong Kong. In addition, he holds a Ph.D. degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Henry is the Associate Programme Leader of Bachelor of Science (Honours) in AI and Educational Technology, as well as Programme Coordinator of PGDE(P)-IT & PGDE(S)-IT, and Minor Coordinator of the Design of STEM Lessons at The Education University of Hong Kong.
Prior to joining The Education University of Hong Kong, he was an Assistant Professor (Associate Head - Administration @2013-2015) in Tung Wah College. He has over 10 years of project management experience, and he is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a member of the IET and the corporate member of HKIE.
His research interests include AI Education, IT in education, STEM education, simulation-based learning, mobile learning, mobile apps development, digital health, health informatics, adaptive filtering, digital signal processing, machine learning and data analytics.
